This article is quick to point out the artistic movement that has occurred around video games. It points to Intruder by Natalie Bookchin, The Pink Stealth by Mendi Obadik, and Super Mario brothers by Cory Arcangel. These works of art use the platforms of the video games to make there art. It is fascinated to think about the art that is involved with video games. When i look back at the video games on the market now, I can see that there are a number of games that have graphics that are in and of themselves works of art. Here is a link to Super Mario Brothers to see the beauty that has been remodeled in one of the best games to have ever existed. http://www.medienkunstnetz.de/works/super-mario-cloud/images/1/
1. Rose discusses how “TV advertising has been losing its impact for years” (229). He tells the reader that a new president is coming into view in the internet. Interactive advertising is the way of the future. The consumer is becoming more educated and less convince by television advertising. Not to mention that as Rose points out TiVo and other technologies are allowing viewers to skip over the unneeded information. This idea makes me think about previous readings and realize that the consumers are becoming more educated and ready be involved in advertising.
2. Garfield points out a comment made by CEO of Denuo about online video posting. He says “If you aren’t posting, you don’t exist, … People say, ‘I post, therefore I am.’” (224). This tells a common consensus that online videos allow anyone to be a star which is the cause of its popularity. It was then brought up that by even networks are adapting to this I then thought well at least sports are still online but I soon realized that even sports are constantly being watched online like the March Madness.
3. Davis adds to the idea of consumer involvement with his revolutionary means of filmmaking. He is using the smarter more technology inept audience to make his films popular. Although the limitations of networks and websites make it difficult to make money this new consumer craze appear to be “the future of television” (236).
4. The surge of technology is also affecting the means of artists. It is allowing art to be created by anyone. This is forcing artist to be more creative than ever before.

I saw this a couple weeks ago and after class I thought it was very similar to the movie we saw in class. It is a animation that is funny but is about serious topics.
For project two I wanted to tell a interesting yet funny story. I decided that since I argue with everyone it would only be natural that I wouldn’t agree with myself either. So I put four pictures of myself in a disorganized meeting. Leaving it to the viewer to decide what the meeting is about. To add some humur I added my tank brain running over a brain in my tank. Also to add some humor I was wearing sneakers which hints back to my previous work.
